Key commercial terms

How an AQUROV order is confirmed, how pricing works, what warranty covers and how returns are handled. Product-specific details are confirmed per product and order.

Topic What applies
Standard products An order is confirmed once payment is complete and the order has passed review. Lead time starts from that confirmation, not from the quotation.
Light customization An order is confirmed once payment is complete and the final technical drawings are confirmed. Lead time starts from that confirmation.
Pricing Three price levels are used: standard retail, bulk and distributor. The price that applies to an order is confirmed per product, quantity, lead time, payment terms and customization scope.
Warranty Warranty coverage differs by product type and runs from the date you receive the goods. Manufacturing, material or product defects are AQUROV's responsibility. The applicable warranty period is confirmed per product and order.
Returns and exchanges Quality problems can be repaired, replaced or refunded. Non-quality issues are generally not accepted for return or exchange. If the customer selected the wrong model, the customer carries the cost; if AQUROV recommended the wrong model, AQUROV carries it.

These points describe how AQUROV handles orders, pricing, warranty and returns. Anything that depends on the product or the order — the price level that applies, the warranty period, freight and lead time — is confirmed with you.

AQUROV is the customer-facing brand, the product brand and the trading centre for the underwater robotics components sold on this website. These terms cover how an order is placed and paid for, how it is shipped, and how third-party products and documentation are handled. Order confirmation, price levels, warranty and returns are summarised on this page and described in more detail on the warranty and shipping pages.

How an order is placed

Confirming a quotation does not by itself place an order. For standard products, an order is in place once payment is complete and the order has passed our review. For light customization, an order is in place once payment is complete and the final technical documents or drawings are confirmed. Lead time is counted from that point, not from the quotation.

Lead times are confirmed with you before they are promised. If stock, production or logistics change in a way that clearly affects your project, we tell you and offer the options that are available.

Payment

Online payment is the default path for standard products, including orders close to US$10,000. Bank transfer is used where a customer chooses it or where the transaction requires it. Small custom orders are paid in full in advance; larger custom orders are handled with a deposit and a balance settled before shipment. Credit terms are agreed case by case.

Stock, reservation and changes

Stocked standard products are reserved once payment is complete. For key accounts, a confirmed purchase order, or a large order that is about to be paid, a short reservation can be requested with a stated deadline. If a product is not available, we offer to wait for the next batch, supply an alternative model, ship part of the order, or refund the affected items.

Shipping and trade terms

Freight is calculated at checkout where the order can be standardized. Special size, weight, destination, transport mode or trade terms are quoted manually. Small and medium orders ship by international express or air; large, distributor and project orders can run on EXW, FOB or CIF terms. Import rules, duties and taxes are set by the destination country, and transit time depends on the carrier and the route.

Third-party products

Where AQUROV selects a third-party product and integrates it into a solution, AQUROV coordinates the supply and carries the main responsibility for it. Where a customer specifies a model and AQUROV only procures it, that boundary is stated before the order is placed.

Documentation and product data

Product data, drawings and manuals are published to help you select and integrate AQUROV products. Copyright in that documentation stays with AQUROV. Figures that depend on the installation — thrust, power draw, optical range, buoyancy — are stated with the conditions they were measured under and should be verified for your application.
