Working environment
Sheltered, busy sites where nets, ropes and mooring lines are everywhere and the water carries organic load. The vehicle is flown from a service boat or a walkway, sometimes in very shallow water and sometimes well below the surface, and it is rinsed after use.
Technical challenges
Working close to nets without snagging propeller or tether, and keeping the vehicle sealed and clean in biologically active water. Current inside a cage and a small working area make fine control more useful than speed, and the pilot has to see net damage where algae and sediment reduce contrast.
