Privacy Policy
How AQUROV handles the information you give us when you browse this website, place an order or send a project enquiry. The policy text itself is maintained by AQUROV and published on this page.
This policy explains how AQUROV handles the personal information you give us when you browse aqurov.com, create an account, place an order, or send us a product or project enquiry. AQUROV maintains this text and publishes it on this page.
Last updated: 19 September 2026. This policy replaces any earlier privacy statement published on this website.
Who is responsible for your information
The store on this website is operated under the AQUROV name. Requests about personal information, and any question about this policy, go to the addresses below:
- Head office: Xingke Industrial Zone, Bulong Road, Bantian Subdistrict Office, Longgang District, Shenzhen
- General enquiries, distribution and cooperation: info@aqurov.com
- Technical support and after-sales: support@aqurov.com
- Phone: (86) 0755-23852233
What we collect
We only collect what the store, the order or your enquiry actually needs:
- Account and order details — name, company name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, country, the items ordered, and any order notes you add.
- Payment information — the payment method and the transaction reference. Card details are entered with the payment provider, not with us.
- Correspondence — the messages you send us and any attachment you include, such as product photos, wiring diagrams, drawings, datasheets or test notes.
- Technical and log data — the IP address your browser presents, browser type and version, operating system, the pages you visit, and the time of the visit. Our servers record this to keep the site running and to protect it.
- Cart and session data — stored in cookies so that a cart survives a page reload and a signed-in session stays signed in.
We do not ask for information we do not use, and we do not collect information about children. If you send us someone else’s details — for example a colleague who will receive the shipment — you confirm you are allowed to pass them to us.
Why we use your information
- To quote, accept, process, pack and ship an order, and to take and reconcile payment.
- To answer a product, compatibility, customization or project question, and to give technical support.
- To handle warranty, repair, replacement and return cases, which is why we keep the order and its correspondence.
- To keep accounting, tax and export records that we are required to keep.
- To run and secure the website, including fraud and abuse prevention.
- To send product or service updates, but only where you have asked for them or where the law allows it; every such message can be unsubscribed from.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not sell it.
Payments
Payments are processed by payment service providers, which currently include PayPal and Stripe. When you pay, the card or account details are entered with that provider under its own terms and privacy policy, and the provider confirms the result to the store. AQUROV does not store your full card number or your security code. The provider may carry out its own fraud and identity checks.
Cookies and sessions
This site uses the cookies that WordPress and WooCommerce need in order to work: a cookie that identifies the contents of your cart, a cookie that records the number of items in it, a session cookie for your store session, and, once you sign in, cookies that keep you signed in. Blocking these cookies in your browser will stop the cart and the account area from working.
No advertising or analytics cookies are active on this site at the time this policy was published. If that changes, this section is updated before such a tool is switched on.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with parties that help us deliver what you asked for:
- Payment providers, to take and confirm payment.
- Couriers, freight forwarders and customs brokers, to deliver the shipment and clear it.
- Hosting, email and IT providers that run this website and our mailboxes, under contracts that limit their use of the data.
- Professional advisers and public authorities, where the law requires it or where we have to establish or defend a legal claim.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not pass it to unrelated parties for their own marketing.
International transfers
AQUROV sells internationally, so an order may be handled and delivered across borders, and our service providers may process data in a country other than yours. Where information is transferred, we keep the transfer limited to what the order, the shipment, the support case or the law requires, and we rely on the provider’s contractual safeguards. Data protection law in the destination country may differ from the law where you live.
How long we keep it
- Order, invoice and payment records: kept for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes, and for as long as a warranty or a dispute could still be raised.
- Account records: kept while the account is open; deleted or anonymised when it is closed, except where a record must be retained.
- Enquiries and support correspondence: kept while the case is open and for a reasonable period afterwards, because the same product and configuration often come back in a later order or a warranty case.
- Server logs: kept only as long as needed to run and secure the site.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we have no legal reason to keep it, object to a particular use, or ask us to restrict it. Write to info@aqurov.com and say what you want; we may ask you to confirm your identity before we act. If you are in a jurisdiction that gives you the right to complain to a data protection authority, you can use that route as well — but a message to us first usually resolves the point faster.
Security
This site runs over an encrypted connection, access to the order data is limited to the AQUROV team members who need it, and payment card data stays with the payment providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security; if a breach affects you, we tell you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Children
This website and the components sold on it are intended for professional and industrial buyers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not aim any part of the site at them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If our practices, our providers or the law change, this page is updated and the date above is changed with it. Material changes are described here rather than made silently.
